On 24th March 2018 the National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is of India hosted a celebration to mark the occasion the 200th birth anniversary of Bahá’u’lláh, the Prophet Founder of the Bahá’í Faith at the Baha’i House of Worship-Lotus Temple. The event was attended by government officials, media persons , Academics, Heads of NGO’s , representatives from embassies Japan, Argentina, France, Spain, United Kingdom and Ambassadors from several different countries like Greece, Brazil, Czech Republic, Hungary, Taiwan, Algeria, Jordanand Ireland, and also various professionals from across Delhi who all have keen interest to work toward peace and unity in the world.
An elevating prayer service comprising readings and chants from the Baha’i Holy Writings was held in the prayer hall performed by The Neemrana Music Foundation Choir and members of the Baha’i community. The chants of the prayers touched the hearts of each and everyone present there. Many guests expressed a deep gratitude and appreciation for the moving and uplifting experience. The guests proceeded to the Temple gardens where against the backdrop of the magnificent illuminated Temple the evening was concluded with a musical interlude.
